Quotes and bookings
Quotes are fixed for 14 days and include all surcharges known at quote time. A booking is confirmed once you accept in writing; capacity is then reserved in your name and our cancellation schedule applies.
Your cargo
You confirm goods are accurately described, legally shippable and packed to a transport-safe standard. Restricted, hazardous or temperature-sensitive goods must be declared at quote stage so we can plan compliant handling.
Liability and insurance
Carrier liability applies per international conventions (Montreal, Hague-Visby, CMR). All-risk cargo insurance is available at quote stage and recommended for high-value shipments; without it, compensation follows convention limits.
Delays and force majeure
We communicate delays the moment we know of them and reroute where possible. Events beyond reasonable control — weather, strikes, port closures, regulatory holds — suspend delivery obligations without penalty to either party.
Payments
Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed. Duties and taxes assessed by authorities remain the consignee's responsibility unless our quote explicitly includes them.
